YEB 2022 | Day 4- 2nd Half


The second half of the fourth day started with Mr. Alok Mathur. He shared his fascinating entrepreneurial journey of leaving a well-paying corporate job and pursuing a full-time MBA which exhausted all his savings and then deciding to lead a challenging yet exciting entrepreneurial life. He has given insights on what qualities make a good entrepreneur and emphasized the qualities such patience, boldness, and willingness to take risks.


The second lecture was conducted by Mr. Lohit Sahu, an award-winning BITSian entrepreneur working in the education space. He discussed creative problem-solving and innovation. He led a highly interactive session and shared essential entrepreneurial principles related to expanding one's perspective and thinking beyond conventional lines.


Dr. Radharaman Mishra discussed product innovation, market and perception of customers. His talk covered design thinking as a problem-solving approach, and gave students a hands-on opportunity to delve into the various phases of design thinking.


Dr. Rajan Pandey and Dr. Byomakesh Debata took the last session of the 2nd slot on the fourth day. They described certain key financial concepts to the students such as investment, consumption, stock markets, etc. Their session also involved a hands-on with the Bloomberg Terminal which is a well-known database that provides financial software tools and various enterprise applications.
