A Gold Medalist in BTech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering – has earned MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the New Mexico State University (NMSU), USA. She worked for 5+ years as Analog IC Designer in Austin, Texas, USA.
She worked as the Program Director of StartFast Venture Accelerator - Upstate New York's top 1 accelerator program - and helped 10 startups scale/raise $2+ million.
After living in the USA for 15 years, she accepted the opportunity with T-Hub and relocated back to home with a great zeal to learn, serve, and build the innovation/startup ecosystem of India. She led had about 170+ startups graduate with ~$130 Million funds raised cumulatively and 7 of them acquired.
She presides over several advisory committees and panels that deal with innovation and entrepreneurship. She shares and lives the vision of the Government of Telangana in making Telangana as one of the innovation/startup destinations of the world.
Formally trained in mechanical engineering and business management, I gathered extensive experience in operations in international companies of repute. I have lived and worked in India, Oman and China - three countries with interestingly different industrial infrastructure, downstream industry and religious and cultural beliefs. This combination of formal education, 27 years of experience and immersion in diverse cultures helped me to become a change management, operational excellence, business finance and business strategy specialist.

Was part of the entry strategy team for the German MNC, Boehringer Ingelheim setting up the 100% Subsidiary in India. Worked on multiple M&A and licensing opportunities across countries during the strategy stint in Glenmark. Also headed the Business Development and Planning function for global markets including India, Latam, S E Asia, Africa & ME and CEE. Also led several global new project initiatives and finally set up and re-established Glenmark's presence in the MENA region.
Jagadeesh Babu R.
Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Rangisetty has obtained his Master’s in Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus in the year 1996. Currently he is Founder & CEO of Biophore India Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd.
He started Biophore in 2007 with a 7-member team and has steadily grown it over the years and has now made it a second home to around 1100 employees, with 55% being scientists. He is a part of 7 pharmaceutical companies that focus on research, manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients and formulations. Currently the products are being used directly or indirectly in over 60 countries. Several novel and breakthrough formulations have been introduced into the market which reduce the cost burden of the patients. Biophore, now, consistently ranks among the Top 10 US DMF filers with the US FDA year on year.
Lohit is the Founder & CEO at Edzok. Lohit graduated from BITS Pilani in 2009, and started his company from the business incubator at BITS Pilani. Since then Lohit has worked with governments, chain of schools and higher ed institutions to better different aspects of education. Lohit was also instrumental in executing UDAAN by CBSE to empower underprivileged girl children write JEE. Lohit's was ranked globally among top 25 by the Alan Alda Centre for Communicating Science at the Stony Brooke University. Lohit has also been named the "Star Entrepreneur of the Year" at IIIS and has been the recipient of BITSAA Global 30 Under 30 Award. Lohit has been a speaker at TEDx, Harvard's HUII and others.
A perfect example of NEVER GIVE UP is Mr. Bala’s story.Bala Reddy is a graduate from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad with a Management Degree in Agribusiness and a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology in Warangal.
He is the Founder and CEO of Our Food Private Limited. He conceptualized the vision of Our Food, various business strategies, short-term goals, and long-term objectives. He led the growth of the company at 4x over the last 3 years.
Bala has over 17 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, handling businesses and successful exits in the infrastructure sector. He worked in renewable energy, finance, and software development sectors and worked as the Chief Marketing Manager for Mission Biofuels.
Jissy A. Kuriappan
Jissy, an IIT alumnus, after attaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry, worked with research organizations in France, US, Germany, and Italy. As a Marie Curie Fellow, she secured funding of ~180,000 euros for anti-cancer drug discovery from the European Union. The American Chemical Society awarded her the Promise in comp award (2019) recognizing her as an outstanding young talent in computational chemistry/Biology. She has authored 19 publications in a peer-reviewed journals and a book chapter. Currently, Jissy is heading the computational division of the Drug Discovery lab at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
She assists small businesses which support Fintech business reformation and Farmers of India with the vision of ensuring people to have a secure, healthy, and stable life.”
After 30 years of varied assignments in the Navy, Commodore Harsh Bhargava chose to become a Professor at Icfai Business School, Hyderabad. Besides teaching MBA courses like Entrepreneurship and Startup Management, Harsh relishes nurturing business leaders and development of faculties in the industry, government and educational institutions. He encourages inter-disciplinary orientation and thinking. He has been an invited faculty at IIMs and other leading B-schools in India.
He has researched and published extensively and has authored/co-authored nine books. His forthcoming book BITS of Social Impact is a primer on Social Entrepreneurship with real life stories of change makers who have made a social impact in India. His former students are industry leaders today—which he considers as the true reward for a teacher.

I come with about 22 years of professional experience across diverse functions with large global organizations including Google, Dell, Economic Times & Onida, organizations which defined and transformed the spaces that they operate in. I also bring to the table a vast amount of learning which I have acquired through working with and interacting with top notch professionals who are recognized leaders in their chosen areas not only in India but also globally.

Mayur Patnala is the Founder and CEO of Nirmaan Organization, a not-for-profit that helps underprivileged youth in rural India gain access to quality education. Raghavender is the President & CEO of NuPort Robotics, Canada’s first autonomous trucking company. He is one of Canada’s leading AI entrepreneurs having extensive experience in the fields of Applied AI & Robotics. Raghavender was listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 for North America, BITSAA Global 30 under 30 list and received the 2020 Mitacs Environmental Entrepreneur award and the Audience Favorite award. He has a Masters in Computer Science from York University, Bachelors in Computer Science from BITS Pilani and has worked at Huawei, Google Summer of Code, Open Robotics, University of Toronto, Next Canada prior to founding NuPort. He participated in accelerator programs such as UC Berkeley SkyDeck, MaRS Supply Chain AI, Plug and Play and Next AI and his company has received coverage in Forbes, TechCrunch, Betakit, Invest Ontario, Business world, Autocar professional, Economic Times, etc.
I am currently building a robotics startup called WCB Robotics. I started WCB Robotics as a time pass tinkering project during my BITS 2nd year. WCB Robotics is developing a façade cleaning robot for high rise skyscrapers. The robot we are developing, ELMO, is unlike anything that exists in the world using a flurry of proprietary and patented technologies including non-contact suction cups, a unique cleaning system etc. ELMO works by sticking to the glass using non-contact suction cup and then using wheels to navigate the façade while cleaning the façade using proprietary water-based cleaning system.
Engineering always fascinated me and the independence and freedom that the path of Entrepreneurship promised has always drawn my attention. So, when I realized in my college years that there were very few opportunities in core engineering which also pay well in India, I decided to start my own company.

Who can participate at
YEB is designed for school students who are excited about innovations and entrepreneurship. To participate in YEB 2022, you must be a student in any Grade between 9th to 12th (or equivalent). You need to submit your application before December 3rd, 2022. It is advised to submit applications as early as possible, and not wait for the deadline.
Application fee is Rs. 500 per student.
Subsidized Fee for YEB 2022 (6-day programme) is Rs.15,000 per student.
This fee is inclusive of both way transfer (at specified time slots) to BITS-Pilani Hyderabad campus from Airport/Railway station, Accommodation, Meals, access to campus facilities (like gym, sports etc), access to YEB Lecture Sessions, access to YEB Hands-On Sessions.
Selection will be based on two criteria.
