1. Application Fee

• A non-refundable fee of ₹500 is charged at the time of application.

• This fee covers administrative and processing costs and is not refundable.

2. Bootcamp Registration Fee
Students shortlisted for Bootcamp are required to confirm their participation in the YEB Bootcamp by paying a fee of ₹22,000.
It includes:

• Hostel Accommodation (sharing basis) during the Bootcamp

• All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

• Access to lectures, workshops & hands-on sessions, guest talks, visits, and other YEB-related events

• YEB merchandise

3. Refund Eligibility
In general, the Bootcamp fee ( ₹22,000) is non-refundable. However, in specific genuine and unavoidable circumstances, the refund review committee may grant partial or full refunds as per the following guidelines:

3.1 Acceptable Reasons for Refund (Subject to Verification):

• Medical emergencies (self or immediate family)

• Bereavement in the family

• Other unavoidable emergencies without prior notice, which are considered valid by the committee

3.2 Required Documentation:

• Medical certificates from registered medical practitioners or hospitals

• Valid documents supporting the reason for withdrawal

• Any additional proof as required by the committee

3.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios:

• Withdrawal due to change of mind or preference without genuine reason or documentation.

• Any request received after the start of the BootCamp.

• In cases of a candidate leaves the Bootcamp in between due to any reason.

4. Refund Determination Process​

• The refund request must be submitted via email to yeb@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in with the scanned copy of all supporting documents.

• The Refund Review Committee will evaluate the validity of the refund request and communicate their decision within 10 working days of submission. The committee will also look into the following criteria:

• If the vacated seat is filled by another eligible candidate before the start of the BootCamp, a full refund may be granted (excluding the ₹500 application fee).

• If the seat remains unfilled, the committee will assess the expenses already incurred (such as lodging, merchandise, bookings, etc.) and may offer a partial refund, if applicable.

Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 8 weeks after the completion of the Bootcamp.

5. Final Decision Clause
The refund decisions are at the sole discretion of the YEB Refund Review Committee. The committee’s decision will be considered final and binding.
