The opening day of the 7th Edition of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus kicked off with inspiration, innovation, and dynamic experiences! Here's a snapshot of Day 1:
Inauguration Ceremony
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, led by Prof. Souri Banerjee (Director, BPDC), alongside Dr. Shailendra Rughwani (Owner, Experts Group of Companies) as Chief Guest, and Guests of Honour Mr. Udayan Gaidhani (MD, Inceptio Systems) and Dr. Kesar Kothari (MD, Elfit Arabia).
Keynote 1: Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
Dr. Shailendra Rughwani emphasized the critical balance between entrepreneurship and sustainability, sharing inspiring examples of how businesses can drive positive environmental and social change.
Keynote 2: Customer Engagement
Mr. Udayan Gaidhani delivered actionable insights on understanding customer needs, building strong relationships, and fostering loyalty through customer-centric strategies.

Dr. Kesar Kothari inspired participants with strategies on leadership, innovation, and adapting to the ever-changing business landscape.

Led by Dr. Padmanabhan Seshaiyer (Professor, George Mason University), students explored creative thinking and structured approaches to brainstorming innovative concepts.
Workshop: Concept to Creation through 3D Printing
Prof. Harpreet Singh Bedi introduced students to 3D design and printing, demonstrating how ideas can be transformed into tangible prototypes through cutting-edge technology.
Industry Visit: Dubai City Tour
The day wrapped up with an inspiring city tour of Dubai, immersing students in its vibrant culture, iconic architecture, and global business hub.
Day 1 set the stage for a transformative journey, blending inspirational talks, hands-on learning, and real-world experiences to fuel the entrepreneurial spirit.
