of the 11th Edition of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp (YEB) 2025 at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus was a powerful blend of creativity, strategy, and execution, pushing students to think critically and act decisively.
The day began with an insightful workshop on Eco-Mold: The Bioplastic Revolution by Dr. Souvik Kumar Paul, where students explored sustainable innovation and the future of environmentally responsible materials.
This was followed by an engaging hands-on activity, Rise and Design, led by Dr. Kanchan Sen Sharma and Dr. Neenu Thomas, Ph.D., where teams competed to build towers using newspapers. It was a fun yet impactful exercise highlighting creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving under constraints.
Students then delved into the strategic side of entrepreneurship through:
Calculated Risks in Business by Mr. Mubashshir Ali, focusing on decision-making and risk evaluation
Finance for Budding Entrepreneurs and Managers by Dr Aman Srivastava, simplifying financial thinking for young innovators
How to Do an Elevator Pitch by Dr. Trupti Gokhale, equipping students with the art of concise and compelling storytelling
The day concluded with students putting their learning into action through building pitch decks and participating in the Pitching Competition, where ideas transformed into confident presentations.

The Young Entrepreneurs Bootcamp (YEB) witnessed an exciting milestone as the student pitching sessions successfully concluded. Over the past five days, students from 9th to 12th grade immersed themselves in the entrepreneurial journey—transforming curiosity into well-structured business ideas through learning, experimentation, and collaboration.
Guided by mentors and academic experts from the UAE and the USA, the students explored every critical step of entrepreneurship from identifying real-world problems and ideation to validation, business modeling, and finally confidently pitching their ideas. The energy, preparation, and clarity displayed during the pitch sessions reflected the hard work and dedication of every team involved.

AquaBite– An eco-conscious concept replacing plastic bottles with consumable packaging for hydration solutions.
FreshGuard – A technically innovative approach to detect food shelf-life using smart sensing materials.
ShelterLink – A socially driven model aimed at repurposing vacant homes to provide shelter for the homeless.
SolarSafe – A solar-powered cooling locker designed to help construction workers store food safely.
SwapSole– A creative modular footwear idea with interchangeable soles for different activities.
TAERS (Tunnel Air Energy Renewable Source) – An advanced energy-harvesting concept using CFD modeling to capture wind energy generated by high-speed trains.
ThermoGuard – A heat-mitigation vest and skull cap using novel materials to reduce thermal stress.
VyaparPoint – An AI-enabled platform connecting rural street vendors with modern consumer demand.
Each team stood out for their teamwork, problem-solving approach, and willingness to think beyond conventional boundaries.
