Entrepreneurship Opportunities in Indian Pharma | Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Rangisetty
The second, very informative session, of the day was conducted by BITS Pilani Alumnus Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Rangisetty. Giving an overview of the pharmaceutical industry in India, he elaborated on the expenditure and necessities for setting up a pharma company, the 3Ms (Money, Man-power, and Machinery) and the 3Is (Idea, Innovation, and Intellectual Property). He also drew focus on the cost of life saving drugs, and prompted the students to pioneer automation in the manufacture of such drugs.
Risk Management and Mitigation | Mr. Sumit Nandedkar
The third session was conducted by Mr. Sumit Nandekar, a COO at Microtek International, regarding the analysis of risks in entrepreneurship and their mitigation. He inspired the young minds with his knowledge of the partnership between risk and reward, and educated them on the process of evaluation of risks, and the treatment of risks via planning.
